Well Hello There!

My name is Tanya!

I create templates and digital products for lifestyle and business aspects!

I love coffee (and the occasional chai tea) and I adore cats!

My Story...

Before completing my bachelors degree in education to become a teacher, I did a three month graphic design course. With that aside, and after my 1st year of teaching Afrikaans as a second additional language in South Africa, I realized that teaching 4th graders in an over packed classroom is not my thing (even though I love teaching others how to do things). So, I needed a way to generate income that will match my teacher’s salary.

This is where that graphic design course came in handy, because soon after I resigned, I opened my own Etsy shop where I started selling printables.

I dove further into the massive world of passive income and learned how to build multiple streams from different sources.

I’ve started my first blog in 2016 (a wedding blog), which I could leverage to sell more items on Etsy. It was definitely a work-in-progress with both uphill and downhill adventures. It took months, years to get it right because I needed to find what works, what doesn’t — including common tips and advice from “pro bloggers” that simply aren’t true — to bring that knowledge and know-how together in what is known today as CuriousFem.

When reflecting back on my online adventures, I wanted to go back to basics and really focus on which gaps I can fill with digital products. One thing I have always been interested in is editable templates, so I’ve expanded my Etsy shop to include more things…

How TWCprintables evolved...

When I started The Wedding Club in 2016, there was a need that I wanted to fill in the wedding industry. This was in the form of simple checklists and other wedding related printables for brides who plan their own wedding.

So, I have researched various ways to sell these printable files and ended up opening an Etsy shop – the instant payment and download  systems made it so much easier to deliver files to customers.

If you haven’t noticed yet, the ‘TWC’ in TWCprintables stands for The Wedding Club. And even though I still aim to provide many helpful resources in the wedding industry, I wanted to expand my Etsy products to include templates and printables for lifestyles and business, too.

The name has grown on me, and I love the TWCprintables branding (I hope you do, too)! 🙂
