All Canva planner template designs, as well as other design templates created for use with Canva and other software, which are sold by TWCprintables, are subject to copyright. The template designs are 100% designed from scratch by Tanya Viljoen (owner of TWCprintables), by use of design elements offered by Canva.

The planner templates include a Limited Commercial License.

Other templates designed by TWCprintables include a Personal Use License only, and in the case of templates designed for social media (such as Instagram or Pinterest templates, and others) can be used for one (1) business account/profile on the relevant social media platform or channel.

Limited Commercial License for Planner Templates

The Limited Commercial License for planner templates means that you MAY NOT ABUSE the use of the planner templates by reselling Canva links, sharing or distributing them, claiming any designs as your own, taking credit for templates, and registering the designs as copyrighted by you, or your company.

Furthermore, you MAY NOT sell, resell, share, distribute or claim, anywhere online, any Canva links bought from TWCprintables.

To clarify the use of the Limited Commercial License Planner Templates:

You can edit the Canva templates and add your own branding, style, colors, logo, and more into the design.
You can sell/share the planners only in PDF or JPG/PNG versions and only after making major changes to the design. Major changes can include but is not limited to changes to fonts, colors, design style, elements, layouts, and so on. In short, it needs to look different from the original design.
You MAY NOT sell/share the planners in an editable version.
You MAY NOT sell/share the any Canva link you've purchased or received from TWCprintables. This also means that you MAY NOT share the link with anyone you've hired/paid to edit the templates for you or grant access to any other person besides you who have purchased the templates.
The planner designs and templates MAY NOT be used in book publishing, or selling of physical printed products, even if the design has been changed.

What does the law say?

Penalties for copyright infringement include civil and criminal penalties. In general, anyone found liable for civil copyright infringement may be ordered to pay either actual damages or “statutory” damages affixed at not less than $750 and not more than $30,000 per work infringed.

For “willful” infringement, a court may award up to $150,000 per work infringed. A court can, at its discretion, also assess costs and attorneys’ fees. For details, see Title 17, United States Code, Sections 504, 505.

Willful copyright can also result in criminal penalties, including imprisonment of up to five years and fines of up to $250,000 per offense.

Please note that copyright law exists in your country. Copyright infringement in your country may result in equal or higher fine amounts and imprisonment durations if found guilty.
